Take Your Measurements
Every female runner has individual needs, so we’d like to give you a few tips to help you find your perfect running outfit. Taking accurate measurements is extremely important.
Here are some basic guidelines for taking your measurements:
Place the measuring tape snugly around the body part you want to measure, but do not pull it too tight. If you are measuring yourself, it is best to repeat the measurement several times and calculate an average. Alternatively, ask someone to help you. For children, measurements should be taken more frequently, as they grow quickly.
1. Bust
Measure horizontally around the fullest part of your bust. Make sure the measuring tape runs under your arms and stays straight across your back.
2. Underbust
Place the measuring tape horizontally directly below the bust and wrap it around your body.
3. Waist
Measure horizontally around the narrowest part of your waist.
4. Hips
Place the measuring tape horizontally around the widest part of your hips to determine the correct measurement.
5. Inside Leg / Inseam
Measure from the top of your inner leg down to your ankle.
6. Side Length
Measure vertically from your waist, over your hip, down to the hem. Important: measure without including the waistband.
7. Height
Stand upright without shoes, with your back against a straight wall or door. Measure from the top of your head to your heel.
